Our gender lens investment strategy is aligned to 2X criteria and looks at

Women as entrepreneurs

with a targeted approach at sourcing businesses that are women owned as a primary guide to our deal sourcing. Our criteria: Female founder with 50%+1 ownership/ co-founder with significant ownership.

Women as leaders

where we focus on women in leadership and governance structures. Our criteria: At least 40-60% female representation in leadership.

Women as consumers

where we focus on businesses that have products or services targeted to positively impact the underserved female segment. Our Criteria: Business having an impactful product or service targeted for the underserved female segment; OR At least one-third women clients.

Women in the workforce and value chains

where we will focus on businesses that employ women in quality occupations and/or empower women through gender diverse supply and value chains. Our Criteria: At least one-third women in the team; AND At least one-third women in the supply and value chains.

Women in the investment process

by integrating gender considerations within the deal sourcing, deal screening, due diligence, portfolio management and exit processes as well as women fund managers deploying capital.
